  • Floyd knows Pac takes more punches than himself, so he hopes instead of taking Margaritos punches, Pac will also take punches from Sergio Martinez and by the time Floyd gets pac, he will be sufficiently shop worn for FLoyd.

He also wants more time to study the southpaw stance.

Exactly, back in 2008 when Shane was calling out Pacquiao, Roach and the team thought that "WHOA" Shane isn't as shot as we thought, 2-3 years later, after a massive ass whooping from Floyd and Mora, there like..hmmm, WELL

Which once again be Mannys fault and Roachs fault, if they tryed to fix Manny up with some Mayweather defensive or some Pernell Whitaker defense, Manny wouldn't be worn.

I guess common sense is not so common but I'll try to make sense of what you're saying.

A spare tire and a human being? Mhhhh lets see

Oh! I know. Floyd is frozen like Wesly Snipes in demolition man. So in 8 years when Manny is 40 Floyd will still be 34. Yes? Is that it?

          No?! Let me see again

Okay how about this one: Floyd contacted NASA and there is a space ship that travels at a speed of light. So Floyd will travel, at a speed of light, into space for a few the necessary duration to get Pacquiao to be older. He will then return and try and make the fight. Yes?!

          No?

This has to be it: Floyd has a time machine... Maybe not.

But I get your point because tryes have flash and blood.

But, how is it that fighters who come from long layoffs are not as potent as the fighters who stay active?

The only thing I see is that Manny is waiting for JMM to be very close to 40.

          • I don't doubt it, but I had to do a double take when I read that Mayweather supposedly thinks he's better than Sugar Ray Robinson. I know the man has an ego, but no one with any sense would that, right? SRR fought over 200 times, had over 100 KO's, and had a 90 fight winning streak in his career. Plus, he wasn't a coward in any sense, whether you're talking about fighting three times in a single month (which he did multiple times) or backing down from tough competition.

I mean ****, I've heard of guys with huge ego's, but that kind of claim is on another level.

              Exactly.

It is absurd for Manny to be accusing somebody of manipulating advantages.

Whats your point, I've heard of Pacquiao fans saying that Pac would KO ALI and Robinson, I guess they got a high view of Pacquiao

Mayweather is well-aware that Pacquiao will never fight Sergio Martinez.

And, he does not need to study southpaw's.

Anyway, other southpaw's will not prepare him for Manny's speed/angles.

Numbers dont tell the whole story. Pacquiao has taken more damage throughout his whole career, as well as dangerously cut weight at times. He has much more wear and tear on his body, not to mention that Mayweather hasnt been fighting these last few years while Pacquiao has still been that active.

Not to mention that Mayweather's style is better suited for old age than Pacquiao.

Anyone that thinks that simple age is equivilant to 'boxing age' doesnt know much about boxing. for example...Hopkins at 28 was preprime, while Benitez was shot by 27.(or less).

                    This .

It's one thing for fans to say ****** **** as they are by definition irrational, but when a guy who actually knows boxing like Floyd is saying ******ed **** like that, he needs a reality check.

Like I said, I've heard of ego's, but claims like that take it to another level.
