Cotto should have punched Marg in the face. When Barrera and Morales faced off, the tension was real and Barrera made sure of it by hitting Morales.

I lost a little bit of respect for Cotto, he should have hit him.

Sorry dude, you are off your rocker. No way this fight sells one million PPVs. I bet it does approx 700K max. Cotto isn't as big as you think he is, Cotto vs. Pacquiao only sold 880K and didn't break a million. After the world saw both Cotto and Margs get beat down by the Pacmonster, not that many people are going to pay to see two losers fight. You are out of your mind....

cotto's hate for marg is understandable given that marg was caught trying to cheat against mosley.

also marg cost cotto the dlh fight. if cotto beat dlh, he would've gotten dlh instead fo pac, thus making cotto the ppv cash cow...until pac moved up to beat him that is.

Thats Actually very INCORRECT! DLH would not have fought Cotto because his wife made him promise he wouldnt. DLH wanted to fight Cotto before Mosely but he made that promise to his wife that he would not fight Miguel Cotto.

I like the fight. It just seems dumb to keep Cotto waiting around when the Margs fight will always be there. He could have been the guy to beat Berto. Could have fought Cintron. I'm not sure if having the fight at 154 helps or hurts Miguel. Either way he's going to have to box well for 12 rounds.

WOW.... Bob Arum did Cotto dirty. Miguel didn't like it at all. Arum even peaked over at Cotto with that worried look on his face. How can Arum let Margarito speak at a Cotto post fight conference? Arum doesn't have no shame and that's why Don King was laughing because he would have done the same thing. I never have been a big fan of Miguel Cotto fighter/boxer wise but I do respect him and basically what Arum did was lame.

I hope in the rematch that Cotto finishes Margarito. If Cotto is truly learning from Steward, he should be able to beat Margarito now. All Cotto has to do is sit down on his punches. Neutralize Margarito pressure by stopping him and keeping him in the middle of the ring and going to the body. Still remember when Mosley caught Margarito early with that body shot and Margarito almost collasped. If Cotto has learned from his past mistake I can see him winning but if he lets Margarito spook him again then he loses in the same fashion. The key to beating Margarito is to box him because he has no real boxing skill and is very predictable.
