Yup thats right, 1.25 mill reported by HBO.with a gross of over 70 mill. But I believe it will crack the Million because People are interested in this fight, and Cotto is the third biggest draw in boxing right now. 250k for a tune up fight, on showtime, against a free HBO event featuring the fighter of the year, and march madness.LMAO i could see it doing 7-800 k but would not at all be surprised if it cracks the 1mill.

But LOL @ King laughing the whole time as Arum brings up Margarito.
Yeah! Cotto was really pissed....you could see him hitting Arum's butt after he announced Margarito at the podium.....at 7:35 mark....perfect timing by Arum in promoting the tension prior to the build-up of the rematch......great laugh by Don King

i hope cotto-margarita rematch will happen soon...this time cotto will knocked the cheat out in the later rounds...

i know that without plasters in his knuckles, margarita will never win a fight!!!

mosley and pacquiao can attest to that...

That Charlie Chaplin scene is one of the most hilarious in the history of movies. I hate to tell you how long ago I saw that, but I seem to recall that he was trying to raise some money to help a blnd flower girl have an eye operation.

Why has it become so popular to see overweight girls wagging their backsides. They have always had them, comes with the body.

I don't believe it. It is Arum's, Cotto's and Margarito's good fortune that the wraps controversy was discovered in the very next fight after Cotto, giving a sort of legitimacy to a "manna from heaven" sort of "grudge" match. The dream of every promoter.

I would think that Arum specifically told Cotto to make sure that he gave Margarito some "dirty'looks" that the audience and cameramen could see. That's what Mayorga was there for. Otherwise what would he be doing at the Mayorga post-fight press interview, and why would Arum call him up to the cameras.

All PR for the good of the promotion.

you are talking pure "liquid crap". How did a few traces of a substance found extensively in cosmetics turn into BRICKS. By the way, are they red, cement, or adobe bricks?? Please tell..........

Margarito without his plaster will get schooled by Cotto.

I doubt it'd be that high. I see somewhere around 500k or a bit less unless Arum really decides to promote this fight. BTW, I dont think Mayorga is a tune up fight for any fighter.

Oh...you know that King was laughing at Arum's "callousness"... I differ completely.

King is the king for callousness and would not think it out of the ordinary at all. King makes it a practice to go around in public smiling snd laughing, most of the time about nothing.

King likely was laughing at the smart move by Arum in already building up the promoting of a future fight between Cotto and Margarito.

Do you know ANYTHING at all about boxing and the promoting of same???
