Hey so when your mom and dad die I expect you to be at work the very next day. I mean you don't need to be at the funeral or anything they can take pictures so yeah real man make it happen.

Even now I think I would take Sugar Shane in this fight and that's not doggin' Berto. I just think Mosely is still a pretty dangerous fighter.

Round 1 - Mosley goes to the body, going for contact over power, while feeling out Berto's speed. Berto gets away from anything to the head and is too cautious to get countered.

Round 2 - Berto starts jabbing but still plays keep away. Mosley lured into the jabbing contest, but has such a poor jab that Berto wins cause it's Mosley's head getting knocked back.

Round 3 - Berto feels invincible against "old man" Shane and starts landing rights over Mosley's pawing jab at will (as does everybody). Berto falls in and grabs too much to let Shane get off.

Round 4 - Same sorta thing, but now Mosley is circling and 'boxing' instead of standing and waiting. When Mosley is moving, his jab is a little stiffer so now Berto isn't falling in untouched. Mosley is missing right hands and Berto gets two or three right uppercut counters. Still feels younger and faster, and decides he will count and time Mosley's jab then counter with an uppercut. 123, Mosley does his usual jab routine, and the uppercut comes but Mosley unloads on an overhand right as Berto's chin flies straight up into it. Down, it's over... Berto is either asleep or he gets up and isn't allowed to continue.

I can't see it taking Mosley eight rounds to land on Berto. Bit of an easy target against bit of a spoiler? Sure. But Berto tends to get brave and Mosley lays dead waiting for guys to get brave. Berto doesn't eat more than one from Mosley without going down.

Probably true. Mosley hits harder and takes a better shot than Ortiz, and he is better in a brawl IMO.

Still, credit to Ortiz for doing what he did, good win for him.

This would have been the worst fight of last year. Both of them explode with speed, but have a bad tendency to clinch. It would have been a clinch filled fight with neither landing a ton imo.
