Indeed, it would have been a very different fight.

Mosley(just like Ortiz did)fights in the clinch,an Mosley would be a lot stronger then Berto in the clinch..The only outcome I see is Mosley taking Berto's head off,but that's just my opinion..

Mosley was able to bully around Margarito in the clinch, but there are other times such as against Forrest where he wasn't effective in the clinch. He fights in the clinch, but he isn't as scrappy as Ortiz imo. I don't want to overrate Ortiz, but he constantly fought 24/7 in that clinch. Mosley likes to take breathers a lot more often. There would be a lot of clinches and it would be messy. Maybe Mosley catches him later on like he did Mayorga, but the fight would be terrible leading up to it

Those guy's were a lot bigger then Mosley,Forest Winky and Mayorga were all way bigger man(harder for Mosley to move around)Berto is about the same height and Mosley imo would for sure be the stronger man in the ring..Any fighter the same height as Mosley(not name Mayweather with his elbow)get's bullied in the clinch by Mosley..And also worn down..

What Winky, Forrest, and even DLH had that Berto doesn't is a solid jab to keep Mosley in check, without that he's a tough fighter to get past.

I agree, but in the clinch Mosley was more times then none the stronger fighter..He was stronger then Hoya, but Winky and Forest were so much bigger then him it drove him crazy when they had him in the clinch..But they also had that range finder in his face scoring as well..

would have been a different fight. ive always said berto and shane fight alike. and they do. very little head movement, a lot of power punches, clinching etc. it would have been a different fight. still a war tho and im not sure who would have won. tho the mosely that fought mayweather may have gotten berto outta there really fast. the berto that ofught more on the other hand...completely shot.
