I think Khan's head has gotten a little big. Also. A butt is a butt, we trash Bradley for his butts like every single one is his fault and intentional. So Khans was too. It even looked like it imo. He always has some type of money issue when making a fight happen. Idk, I don't dislike him but I don't like him either. I'm good just as long as I see good fights from him and crappy ones like that 4h*t saturday night. Noone even cared about fight after we saw what came after on HBO.

Khan has no class. He showed that in his dealings with Ariza and in his pre and post fight comments. Regardless of the opposition you should not discredit them after the fight the way he did.

PPl on this site often reference Floyd as being disrespectful/trash talking etc and while he does its always pre fight build up. Afterwards he is always very flattering towards his opposition.

Now this is not a pro Floyd response its only an example of how i believe u shud respect ur opponents after a fight. Khan won, fair and square but it was an accidental clash of heads. Amir afterwards stated that McCloskey didnt want to fight on, that he asked for it to be stopped which is downright lying. McCloskey lost but he did not quit. Amir is a World World champion, no 1 can take that away from him. He has boxing skills but he is in no way elite and its very premature of him to be talking about "World Level" as if he is in the same league as Manny or Floyd.

I loved Amir at the post fight press conference. He put Team McCloskey on their place. I'd like to see more of that Amir.

it's Mccloskeys motion at the moment of impact which caused the heads to clash, hence if you're going to suspect anyone of foul play it can only be mccloskey.. I'll explain further below..

Khan is throwing a straight right (which misses by an absolute mile) and barrels his head straight forward. It is what it is....unfortunate. But to say its more Paul's fault is ludicrous imo
are you serious man? watch that video again. Khan throws a right jab which misses, then his head veers off to the left, *away* from Mccloskeys head. at the same time Mccloskey throws an uppercut and his head goes *towards* Khans head. It's the motion of Mccloskeys head a split second before impact which caused the heads to clash. At the moment of impact, Khans head was not going towards Mccloskeys head, but Mccloskeys head was going towards Khans head. watch it again.

video evidence is clear enough.. cant believe i still gotta describe and explain it in text.. if you place the blame on anyone the *only* person it can be is mccloskey because it was the motion of his head a split-second before impact which caused the clash to happen.

I think Khan is far too arrogant for a guy that got knocked out in under a minute and then refused to redeem himself against that same guy.

I didnt have to read any more after that. What video are u watching? Khan's head goes in a straight line towards McCloskey.....in fact look at the momentum his entire body has even after the clash of heads. Khan had all the forward momentum and it wasn't *away* from McCloskey as you say. Just pause that video at 1.12 and u will see after that McCloskey's head moves no more than a few inches towards Khan whereas Khan's head moves at least a foot towards his.

You know I used to feel sorry for Khan, I used to think he actually was a victim, that he was no more arrogant than 95% of other fighters, but still got chastised, probably due to his religion/race. I always thought fans who hated him used the "he's too ****y" to legitimate their hatred of him, kinda like a vehicle to pedal their hate without giving the real motivation behind their hate. However the other night(Khan's interview) kinda showed me there might of been some legitimacy in the criticisms that Khan was too arrogant/****y. I mean how patronizing was Amir Khan in his post fight interview? and did you here Khan in the post fight presser? cringe worthy. All this on the heels of his interview after the Maidana fight, which was another interview which was a bit meh

It seems to me Khan is rediscovering the arrogance that made him such hated figure. One things for sure, Khan is having himself big time.
You say that I over rated Khan tremendously... It appears you are the opposite end of the spectrum.

I like boxers with that kind of confident attitude/arrogance.

Its called a counter uppercut to the body.

You bait the guy in, then when he decides to lead off, you try to slip the punch then counter. What do you want McCloskey to do, bend to the left when Khan is throwing the right hand, into Khan's power hand?
