He's gained alot of confidence after beating Maidana, seems to brag about that win alot. I like Khan though

he's a bit ****y, and not simply confident in his abilities in the ring.
calling himself "amir khan" is getting old. you got stopped by bradeis prescott.
and he's evidently pretty shady in business dealings
alex ariza is a colorful guy certainly, and he loves the attention, but he's a straight shooter in business. he's arguably the best in the world at what he does.
team khan was very underhanded in their dealings with ariza
it went so far as for amir to tell ariza that he'd open a seperate bank account so he could pay ariza without the khan family knowning.
i do like the way he fights
most guys with his sort of physical makeup will not engage a fight, and amir does largely.
not a huge fan of his personality and the way he pushes it out there.
but that will never be enough to keep me from not watching a very good fighter.
amir looked god awful in his last fight.
and mccloskey quitComment

He came off a little ****y nothing to bad imo.. McCloskey was not a mandatory and Khan is right.. Paul can go fight Maidana/Kotelnik etc.. and come back.. If he was putting a beating on Khan or it was fairly close fight say 3-3 etc i can understand it..
Fact is McCloskey was spoiling the fight and barely fighting back.. why would Khan want to ruin his chances getting popular with the American public fighting him again?Comment

Well it seemed to me that if the blame was to be apportioned to anybody, it might of been Khan, as he was the one lunging etc. I had only seen the replay when I watched it, and I didn't think to distinguish who's fault the headbutt was, as I viewed it as one of those things that happens, which is what it was imo.Comment

i can see why you might initially jump to that conclusion but it demonstrates the value of video evidence and replays.. its clear mccloskeys motion caused the heads to clash, perhaps it was just one of those things but we cant read the guys mind so we dont know for sure. what we do know for sure after reviewing the evidence is that there is *no* case for khan perpetrating the headbutt but there *is* a case for mccloskey perpetrating the headbutt.Well it seemed to me that if the blame was to be apportioned to anybody, it might of been Khan, as he was the one lunging etc. I had only seen the replay when I watched it, and I didn't think to distinguish who's fault the headbutt was, as I viewed it as one of those things that happens, which is what it was imo.Comment

You seem to be suggesting there is no smoke without fire, just cause he'd rubbed his head in earlier. McCloskey was clearly **** out of order to do that, but that replay shows me it was purely accidental, on both fighters part.i can see why you might initially jump to that conclusion but it demonstrates the value of video evidence and replays.. its clear mccloskeys motion caused the heads to clash, perhaps it was just one of those things but we cant read the guys mind so we dont know for sure. what we do know for sure after reviewing the evidence is that there is *no* case for khan perpetrating the headbutt but there *is* a case for mccloskey perpetrating the headbutt.Comment

This is complete rubbish! Its the other way around. I dont blame Khan but if its anyone's fault its his. McCloskey is throwing a twisting uppercut and if you watch the punch, there is no way his head could go anywhere else. Khan is throwing a straight right (which misses by an absolute mile) and barrels his head straight forward. It is what it is....unfortunate. But to say its more Paul's fault is ludicrous imoi can see why you might initially jump to that conclusion but it demonstrates the value of video evidence and replays.. its clear mccloskeys motion caused the heads to clash, perhaps it was just one of those things but we cant read the guys mind so we dont know for sure. what we do know for sure after reviewing the evidence is that there is *no* case for khan perpetrating the headbutt but there *is* a case for mccloskey perpetrating the headbutt.Comment
