You can kinda see why Amir Khan is disliked by some........

You know I used to feel sorry for Khan, I used to think he actually was a victim, that he was no more arrogant than 95% of other fighters, but still got chastised, probably due to his religion/race. I always thought fans who hated him used the "he's too ****y" to legitimate their hatred of him, kinda like a vehicle to pedal their hate without giving the real motivation behind their hate. However the other night(Khan's interview) kinda showed me there might of been some legitimacy in the criticisms that Khan was too arrogant/****y. I mean how patronizing was Amir Khan in his post fight interview? and did you here Khan in the post fight presser? cringe worthy. All this on the heels of his interview after the Maidana fight, which was another interview which was a bit meh

It seems to me Khan is rediscovering the arrogance that made him such hated figure. One things for sure, Khan is having himself big time.

khan just reacted to all the accusations mccloskeys team and some of the crowd were throwing at him.. especially that soon after the fight.. mccloskey headbutted him, the fight gets stopped and all of a sudden its khans fault? nah, i think khan just held his own in the ruckus and well done to him for doing so..

I actually like Khan more after that post-fight interview. McCloskey and his team needed to be put in their place.

It looked to me like Khan headbutted him, as he was the one shooting in wildly at times.

Nah, I was actually happy when he went off on McCloskey like that, Paul deserved it, I mean he didn't show that he wanted it, so Amir handled that pretty well. My issue with Amir Khan is in the ring, there I question him alot, and I've said this before, I know Freddie Roach has credentials but I don't think Roach has helped Khan. So much that he needs to work on, lucky for him he has the athleticism and range to get away with it.

Video says otherwise. See I was a HUGE fan of mccloskey until i saw what little class he had by head-butting Khan and accusing him. Now I think he's trash.

mccloskey twisted his head at the right moment to catch khan with the headbutt when he was coming in:

watch the beginning few seconds of that vid and then at about 1:08 its a clear slow motion^^

mccloskey tries to uppercut khan but at the same time he headbutts him. khan is coming in with the jab but his head isn't aimed at mccloskey, it's mccloskeys head which turns into khan.. you should see what i mean if you watch the vid.

That was fairly insignificant imo. That seemed more like rubbing his head in that actual headbutting. I dont think that right there co-signs that he deliberately tried to headbutt Khan when the actual cut happened.

Its looks to me like McCloskey is throwing a counter uppercut to the belly, cant see any malice from either guy to be honest.

People will never like Khan and will always find an excuse to hate him. The main excuse being that he is ****** or to a lesser extent British.

I don't think Khan is ****y or arrogant. He doesn't say anything 99% of other boxers don't say. But people will take anything he says, take it out of context, and use it against him. He will never win, so he might as well embrace an arrogant attitude and use it as a selling point.

The fact is, Khan is a young, confident, and talented man and people are jealous of his success. That's where 99% of the hate aimed at him stems from.

Boxing fans should celebrate its young stars who are willing to fight the best. Khan choosing to fight Maidana and Bradley in a space of 3 fights tells you all you need to know about his intentions.
