Rhodes is unbeaten at 154 and that Lockett fight coulda easily been scored to Rhodes anywhere but Wales.

this is a pretty dangerous bout imo ... if canelo wins i expect worse defenses then rhodes in the near future

He lost to Gary Lockett like 5 years ago.

He is unbeaten since then and has earned a title shot the hard way.

He won the British title, European title AND won an eliminator for the World title.

Why doesn't he deserve a title shot for this?

Ryan Rhodes is deserving.

I can see where Larry gets the he lost to Lockett, but it seems like everyone forgets, Kelly Pavlik was a big, big puncher.

Just because he didn't ko Sergio Martinez or B-Hop doesn't mean he isn't.
It just means they are that good.


Rhodes did everything the hard way. I am glad to see him getting his shot.

He's much more deserving that Canelo is, that's for sure.
