Except, according to The Ring rules, there needs to be a reason if it isn't #1 Vs #2...

    What's Shane's reason?

Fair ratings, can't complain about that. Looks like anyone who wants the RING or Lineal crown will have to unify, as it should be.

Best news I have heard all day, Cliff.
just to keep the debate going, if pac fought ortiz, the winner still wouldn't be a true lineal champ.

Ring has, IMO avoided credibility problems with their belts since the Vitali Klitschko mistake.

I agree as well. Even though it happened before.

Its so damn hard to get this title(Lineal and/or Ring). Pac-FLoyd would have settled it. i want that 5th Lineal title

an now the possibility of Pac-Ortiz is also dim with Ortiz being with GBP.

Floyd-Pac would solve that as long as one doesn't lose in the meantime. There's plenty of blame to go around there. Less blame, more opening bell. In the meantime, I'll enjoy watching Pac be entertaining IN THE RING.
