If Andre Ward wins the Suepr Six and beats Bute...

Does he belong in the p4p argument?? Let's say hypothetically that he beats AA, and goes on to beat the winner of Froch/Johnson, then gets a fight wit Bute and wins, does that qualify him to be right up there with guys like MArtinez, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Donaire, and JMM???? I mean, its a real big if, considering that the division is pretty damn competitive, but do you think he'd have earned his spot in the top if he does that?

He would have wins over Miranda, Kessler, Bika, Green, Abraham, winner of Froch/Johnson, and Bute. That's a hell of a resume and top 5 P4P worthy.

If he beats Abraham, Froch-Johnson winner and Bute?

Yes. He would be Top 10 P4P without question and probably the best resume at 168 of all time.

        #2 behind Pac.

So young too. So dominant. Excitement level isn't a metric of P4P ratings haters!

It could do, Pound for pound rankings are really getting interesting at the moment. Not long ago it was Pacquiao/Mayweather, then JMM and the rest. Now you've got Martinez and Donaire, Ward could be up there in contention for a top 5 slot soon, so could the winner of Bradley Khan, Wlad can stake a stronger claim to be higher up if (more like when) he beats Haye. Things are getting interesting, it's good that things are kind of moving on from the lack of a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight.

Without a doubt, a resume like that as been said here is one of if not the best resume ever at 168.

JUUUUST checking, because lately I've seen a lot of hate for the guy. Honestly, I think he's very VERY talented and has all the potential, but was unsure what people thought. hahahah

With a resume like that Andre Ward would be challenging for the #1 spot. Especially if Pacquiao keeps cherry picking easy fights.

I think he belongs in p4p now imo. And if he wins the S6 and beats Bute that makes him probably the best SMW of all time.
