He's still got Hopkins, Dawson, and Pascal at 175 if Sergio doesn't want to move up.

Hopefully after Bute he could get a fight with Stieglitz and then move up to 175.

          No doubt about it.

Yes he could be at least #4 behind Pacquiao, Martinez and Mayweather. He could pull Donaire to #5 spot.

              - Froch
              - Bute

Yeah, it doesn't get much better than this (in case he does beat them of course). If he manages to sign a fight with Dirrell afterwars and actually beat him he'd have one of the best 168 resumes ever.

if he is allowed to fight the way hes been fighting of late i think he beats bute ... and pretty well anyone else as well. but i think its unfair ugly and boring to watch. i really dont think he could beat him in the middle of the ring in a pure boxing match

That's how he beat Kessler, in the middle of the ring by boxing.

People tend to forget that because he has chosen to grind it out in the trenches for his last 2 fights.

I would say yes, since I believe Froch is already p4p, and beating him would catapult him up top

i def have issues with ward and the way he fights .... hes seems like a real cool guy but i hate what he gets away with in the ring. if he were a euro i think many others on the forum would as well. people didnt liek the way hatton fought and ward isnt that different to him in style (at least of late)

the kess fight may have been more in the middle of the ring but still had its fair share of elbows headbutts and holding. impressive win but i didnt like the way he got it

as well the bika fight was key for me. bika is slow of foot and hand, so wide and telegraphed, off balanced. and ward tried early to box and counter and didnt do so great. he fought bika's fight and went into the 'trenches' with a guy he shouldnt have with. i wonder why? i think it may have been cause he wasnt good enuf to keep it on the outside. why else would he make it so hard for himself ... and that fight was much closer then the cards reflected.
