The one improvement of note is how he absorbs those heavy bombs from his much heavier foes like it was nothing. He's got a tougher whiskers than most people thought and his resistance to body punches was phenomenal. He's probably starving himself to death just to make 130 back in the days. His chin and his body got tested by the likes of Cotto, Clottey and Margarito, and he just smiled at them...
People are crazy to believe Marquez gets trashed by Pac @147!!!

Marquez couldn't do it in his prime and he damn sure can't do it now that he's not prime and been in 3 or 4 wars since the last fight.Comment

Like seriously? Why are people still saying that EVEN AFTER MAIDANA-MORALES? People are trippin', STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!!! Yeah Morales is a blown up featherweight but Maidana's style played in perfectly for Morales to stay in the fight. He's a good counterpuncher and Maidana's too damn wild and his punching power is not as good as we all expected.
If you think weight was the only reason Marquez got schooled by Mayweather then you should really work on your boxing knowledge. Marquez & Mayweather are both counterpunchers. Marquez does best when fighters bring the fight to him. Mayweather is too fast and would never bring the fight to somebody else. Thats why I think he would beat Pac.
No matter how many fights they have or at what weight MARQUEZ WILL ALWAYS GIVE PAC HELL!!! It's just the style. I think a 3rd fight should happen if Floyd won't fight him in November. It makes sense. Marquez keeps winning and took Pac to hell in those 2 fights and arguably won them.
BRING IT ON!!!
**** it... people have a deathwish for JMM at 147 lbs... fine. I just better not hear mofos say that jmm was too small after pac beats jmmComment

i don't even think the ts really believes what he's saying about pac-jmm at 147. he just want to sweeten floyd's win against jmm...that it was all about skills and the 2 weights difference was just a small factor...pathetic.Comment

Marquez went up for a payday
Morales went up out of necessity
huge difference between the twoComment

I love JMM, but unless this fight happened at 140 or under, which i doubt it will, Paquiao will have his way with Marquez. At WW JMM seemed much slower and it looked like hi speed and power didn't transition well at the weight. Pac has not only m[roved leaps and bounds since their second fight, but he's gotten a lot bigger since then as well. Marquez is lways tough, but he won't possess the speed and power at 147 that he does at 135. I'm not even sure how he'd do at 140, but considering that's only 5lb above the lightweight limit, it'd be a more evenly matched fight with that.Comment
