Pacquiao isnt the same fighter that fought Marquez previously. He can use both hands now. He's smarter defensively. And Marquez at 147 clearly isn't the same fighter at the lower weights.

weight had nothing to do with it, which is why JMM immediately went back down to 135 instead of cleaning out the rest of the WW division.

If you think weight was the only reason Marquez got schooled by Mayweather then you should really work on your boxing knowledge. Marquez & Mayweather are both counterpunchers. Marquez does best when fighters bring the fight to him. Mayweather is too fast and would never bring the fight to somebody else. Thats why I think he would beat Pac.

No matter how many fights they have or at what weight MARQUEZ WILL ALWAYS GIVE PAC HELL!!! It's just the style. I think a 3rd fight should happen if Floyd won't fight him in November. It makes sense. Marquez keeps winning and took Pac to hell in those 2 fights and arguably won them.

Marquez should won both fights but he didn't. Why? Because he can't take clean punches from Pac without kissing his butt at the canvas. Now imagine if 126 & 130 Pac can knock him down several times. Think about this 147 version even the biggest punchers in this division can't even make a dent in his armor. Marquez can counter all he wants but Pac just walk through with it to deliver his own. Boom! Get it? I hate this fight but they need to finish it. Pac will send JMM now into retirement just like what he did to Oscar, Hatton, Margarito, now Mosley and maybe Floyd to end his never ending fake retirements but at least JMM gets what he truly deserved. A retirement pay.

Marquez simply doesn't belong at 147,period.But Morrales-Marquez at 140 would be nice.

Disagree highly. 135 is the max Marquez should be fighting. He has nothing to offer at 147. His power at 135 is above average. At 140-147 he's going to be a below average puncher and WAY smaller than everyone else.

Marquez can't keep his ass off the canvas in fights. At 147 (by someone who would actually try and knock him out) he'd stay on the canvas. Floyd didn't even try, he was happy to UD Marquez.

I disagree, Marquez is getting on a bit and to move up 2 divisions which involves putting on weight and totally changing your conditioning training is too much, if the Mayweather fight didn't show that then I don't know what will. I want to see this fight but only if it's at 140 as I feel that is more of a level playing field, I know it won't happen as Pac calls the shots but WW is just too big for Marquez whereas Pacquiao is now a comfortable WW.
