for floyd it is a great fight to take as ortiz is a reasonably big name and this fight would sell and of course floyd would win , so like you said, there aren't any reasons I can think of for him to not take this fight.

This would be a great fight and tuneup, but the problem is that Ortiz isn't a PPV attraction yet. The problem is whether Floyd is willing to give the kid some PPV exposure. I hope it happens.

Victor Ortiz CAN win that fight. First of all the kid is huge, and as far as I can tell from tonight and previous fights, he has no stamina issues. He is a southpaw. He has a high guard and good defense and foot movement. He mixes up his attack, and is a pretty decent boxer. He punches like a mule. He has a great chin and an awesome ability to recover. He is relentless. And after the ridicule for him quitting in the Maidana fight, his heart is among the best in boxing in my opinion. What else... Do you need anything else? And this is coming from a huge Floyd fan.
