The truth is that Pac will always have his detractors no matter who he selects to fight next, as long as its not FMJ. But the fact is that, although he still has 5-6 bouts left in him, Pac can only fight one opponent at a time. So, every 'deserving' contender needs to just wait for his turn and keep winning. If they lose in the interim, like Berto did, then that's their fault. Don't blame Pac for not selecting them first.

It shouldn't really matter in what order Pac faces them all, as long as he eventually does. So, let's just be grateful that the Pacquiao show is still in town.

No one is crying that Andre Ward is beating guys coming off of last....rather he is getting props by beating top fighters at SMW. Your not gonna catch everyone at their absolute peak, but the main thing is atleast he is fighting them and not making excuses.

Obviously, fans don't get to pick who they want for certain boxers. This is not new. This has been going on for years. All you are really left with is your own way of seeing fights. Which means you don't bother with idiot's viewpoints. It's no rocket science. They don't know any better.

To say that Cotto, Clottey and Margarito are cherry pick fights is just too damn idiotic to stomach. I can't imagine Floyd cherry picking these guys let alone Berto even at this stage of their careers. That's all I've been saying. But some damn idiots are just too caught up with silly technicalities which means nothing in the ring.

Just because Manny or Floyd destroys these guys.....that doesn't mean they suck as fighters.

I look it as the Kobe/Jordan effect in which two guys are so much better than their opposition that they make top fighters look like ****.

Do people honestly think Berto or Bradley would look better against Floyd than Mosley, Hatton or Marquez. Same **** with Cotto, Margarito and Clottey as Berto and Bradley would get embarrassed as well.

I'm not saying these fights shouldn't happen, but don't discredit Cotto, Margarito and Shane for gettting destroyed by the best in the division....two guys who are clearly top 20 ATG talents.

What's even more ironic is that Pac is willing to continue fighting for at least 3 more years and keep facing any opponent placed before him, but he gets hated on by *****s, whereas Floyd has taken a self-imposed vacation rather than continue facing challenges, yet *****s defend him to the death.

I think Manny was going to fight Berto eventually, most likely next year after his Marquez rematch and a Bradley fight, but there was no way Top Rank was going to pass on a big money fight with a name commodity like Mosley who had just defected from their hated rival. Passing that up to fight some guy no one outside of Boxing websites had ever heard of, who had just fought a cab driver on the undercard of someone else's card is just terrible business plain and simple. Once the money fights were out of the way and guys like Berto built their name up, it would've been his turn at bat and he would've gotten Hatton'ed inside of 3 rounds.

But he blew it by getting DOMINATED by a 140-lber known for having no heart and quitting in the ring

Oh well, I think at this point we have a better chance of seeing Pacquiao-Cintron than we do seeing Pacquiao-Berto next year.
