Berto went to war with Ortiz. It's not like he got Ko'd.

I've been calling berto a hypejob since the collazo fight. go check previous threads. this **** didn't just happen after this fight

Do you have proof that he was being protected? He was gonna fight Mosley until that **** happened in Haiti . The collazo fight was close and this ortiz fight was a great war. Maybe you underestimated collazo and ortiz.
Maybe they are good fighters too.
He only called out the big names just for the paycheck and nothing more.

How come when shane try to get him another offer for the fight that berto price himself out.

How come berto didn't accept Cintron's challenge.

How come berto cant even get a fight with Clottey who has nothing to do at this moment. or how bout margarito. He is only calling out the money makers for a payday. And yes there are boxer who would get their ass beat for their biggest payday of their career. Look at clottey for example.

How come all these 147 fighters calling out berto and instead of accepting one of the top 10 fighters at 147, he rather fight JR welterweights. Berto himself said that he wanted to go down in weight and clean out 140(didn't expect him to get fighters from 140 to move up in weight at 147).

yep... berto hasn't even gone through the gatekeepers and he wants to fight the big boys? c'mon son....

only reason berto was even mentioned for the pac sweepstakes is because pac literally beat the ***** outta everybody else.

berto is a hypejob. yeah, he got some speed and power, but he ain't ready. his team sucks and his stamina is garbage and his skills can only get him past C-level WWs and B-level jr WWs.

berto was exposed by collazo, but collazo got robbed of the W in the first fight and got robbed of a rematch. Yeah, I've been calling berto a hype-job since then... go check those threads. this is not a recent phenomenon.

What's a hypejob? Someone that pretends to be capable of finishing his career undefeated?

I am not of the opinion that Berto is/was a hype job. I would agree that he was overrated. With that said Berto still has some of the fastest hands in boxing. That dude is flat out fast he needs ALOT OF WORK though!!!!

He wasn't over hyped. Ortiz was doubted, thats why most thought Berto would win. Some of you should really think before posting and quite making decisions based on your emotions.
