The big difference between PAC and Floyd is PAC took more risks and exceeded expectation unlike Floyd who could have done more if he got a set of COJONES. Despite Floyd's pedigree and so called abilities and all time skills, PAC achieved more than him with limited skills(as Floyd apologist usually say)Comment

Although much is made of the 145 that Cotto came in at, he still looked good for about half the fight,so I think that even at 147, he would likely have still lost, maybe not quite so badly, but this fight showed that Manny P. could handle a good 147 lb'er.Comment

Mosley at that time would've been better but it was still a solid win for Manny. I wasn't convinced he could beat a full-fledged welter as formidable as Cotto. And Cotto may not have been what he once was but he wasn't far removed at all. Manny nearly stopped him in four rounds and ended up destroying him. I rate that very highly. Since that fight his opposition has been mind-numbingly bad. Fights like these don't deserve to be on PPV unless you're the type to pay to see Manny do anything.Comment

He weighed more than DLH at WW, He weighed only 3lbs less than Hatton who was a career JWW and was considered big for the division. He weighed more than almost all of his opponents at 130 and below. Pac has been in the 140's on fight night for a very long time. If he gets credit for beating bigger guys now, he should get discredit for fighting smaller fighters at 130 and below. You can't have it both ways.Comment

140? Instead of Hatton? Nobody really that wasn't a bad fight.
Instead of Cotto at 145? That was a good fight as well, it would have been better at 147. A fight against Mosley would have been better though. But, it wasn't bad regardless.
Instead of Clottey? After the strong 2008-2009 run a Clottey fight wasn't that bad to open up 2010. However, a fight against Bradley and P-Will would have been better.
Instead of Marg? A fight against P-Will anywhere from 147-154 would have been much better.
Instead of Mosley? A fight against Bradly or Berto would have been much better.
And, you know that Pac didn't win a title in his first fight at 126, 130, or 147 right? You were wrong in the thread you created last night.
^^^^ I agree.. great post..Comment

Mayweather has never weighed more than a few lbs over his weigh in weight on fight night on any unofficial scale throughout his career. I don't see why he would change that now. Looks can be deceiving, Pacquiao would look massive against JMM now, Mosley was way bigger than Mayweather.Comment
