Same can be said with Rican posters. But my opinion on what I've seen is that Mexicans are more likely to admit it on here that there is idiots on their side than you all. Again it's an opinion.

I am Boricua, proud of where I am from. We tend to be extremely proud of all puertoricans that make it big, wether it be in sports or any other area. Our boxers become national celebrities and we follow them to the end. As a puertorican, I DO NOT HATE MEXICANS. I respect my mexican "latino brothers" and their rich culture. I am a big fan of many of their fighters like Salvador Sanchez, Julio Cesar Chavez, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erick Morales, among many others. That being said, there are ignorant people everywhere, even in my country. I know there are many people out there that say and do things that can be offensive to others; but to hate someone because of where they come from or who they root for is quite ignorant. I think the competitive nature of both cultures makes the clashes between mexicans and puertoricans much more entertaining, but it should never be reason for someone to hate another person because of what flag they waive.

one thing i will say about puerto ricans is that they may be aggressively annoying when it comes to supporting their fighters, but when they get beat they are much much better sportsmen than mexicans especially posters. they are very gracious in defeat. The complete opposite of mexican posters.

That is absolutely wrong. We still hear about Cotto, Gomez, and others losing to this day.
