It's a hell of a rivalry in boxing at least. I don't have a favorite side in the rivalry because I support a lot of fighters from both sides. The know/have known a lot of Mexicans but the only Puerto Rican I have ever know was my old boxing coach, but I have never heard any of them talk bad about the opposite so my guess is it's just a boxing thing.Comment

Well, here's my 2 cents.... Don't go by what you read at nsb...lol Reality is, we get along just fine. I'm Puertorrican, born and raised... not like the fake ricans born in conus..(see, we even hate ourselves..lol) and to this day, my best friend is a gigantic mexican who was my supervisor while serving in the AF. Yes there's some animosity due to the citizenship... but hey, we didn't ask to be citizens...
Alot of people will say racist stuff here just to get a rise outta people... don't listen to them... I never met a mexican in person that offended me or that i didnt like...and i was stationed in Albuquerque for 5 yrs... Just a thought...
PS: We have more champions per capita than ANY OTHER NATION in the world...

I was picked on by blacks because I was poor as *** and my shoes showed it. LOL. True story. Once I realized that any race can be treated adversely by any race I made a concious effort to never be racist.
They're cool here in Ga. as long as you dont mistake a Mexican for a PR or vice versa. If you ask me it shouldnt be a barrier placed on stolen land anyway.your fucken kidding yourself if you think mexicans hate PR's over U.S. citizenship. Mexicans in the U.S. make up the majority of the "hispanic" and "latino" label and have a much longer history on this continent. Whether mexicans risks their lives to get into America, it doesn't matter because those who are here "ilegally" are not going anywhere and are tide to this land.

I feel you on that. I get aggetated with the racial slurrs myself. It just ***s up a good debate. I am glad that everybody's willing to atleast discuss race but it will get out of hand in a second Im sure.Comment

Actually even whites helped black people during the time of slavery. There were many as well that helped them through the underground railroad. Gave them shelter, food, etc.
Blacks played a big role in the production of slavery as well, captured their own and sold them off.Comment
