Actually the Civil War was about slavery. Slavery being one of the major issues.

The war was because without the resources from the south like cotton and tobacco the union states would take a huge hit. Other than that Lincoln would have let them separate without quarrel and keep their ******. The war started in 1861 and the ****** werent freed until 1862. Not to mention the union could use the extra help from ****** by converting them to soldiers with the promise of freedom in victory. At the end of the day natural goods were the bottom line not slavery. Slavery was just sounded like a more noble cause.

The south was superior militarily. Thats how Im sure you dont know your history. The union started out gettin whooped. Just say I dont know my history and let somebody teach you somethin. The war actually was not a "blow out" either way the north had numbers and resources but the south had the knowledge of the land and a cause. There were times throughout the war when the Union was looking like the potential loser.
