No really, it's because Puerto Rico gets American rights while Mexicans have to risk their lives and live illegally to get them.
your fucken kidding yourself if you think mexicans hate PR's over U.S. citizenship. Mexicans in the U.S. make up the majority of the "hispanic" and "latino" label and have a much longer history on this continent. Whether mexicans risks their lives to get into America, it doesn't matter because those who are here "ilegally" are not going anywhere and are tide to this land. were strong in numbers buddy.
Interesting.....the thing is, you have to differentiate between African Americans and other blacks.....Im not African American and have never met a Mexican in my life...so I have no reason to hate them...I think the same goes for most black people that aren't African American...I realise there is tension between the two in California etc. but most black non African Americans dont hate Mexican, IMO...
We don't hate each other, it's just some people in here(from both sides) start making racist comments that have nothing to do with boxing, that give the majority that impression.
It's mainly and confined exclusively to a friendly boxing rivalry since Mexico blows us away in sports like soccer and we blow them away in sports like basketball and baseball.
everyone is racist you could deny it but no one is perfect, i got friends of all races and yes when we had arguments there was racial slurs all over the place but we knew that when someone is in the heat of an argument you dont think about the words that come out of ur mouth, we still kick it together cuz we know each other, thats what makes us humans afterall right

That's cool. I always thought the was the case but one of my friends used to live and work around Chicago, and he said there were lots of Puerto Ricans and Mexicans there and they all hated each others guts. That's when I started to wonder if it went outside of boxing

This is true.. African American blacks are nothing like the Latino blacks that I've met.. Latino blacks are no different then me when we speak.. There part of us.

I remember in college there was a good Dominican friend of mine. The professor told him to play Othello(Othello is black) and he got madly pissed off lol.
