Why do Mexicans and Puerto Ricans hate each other?

And Mexicans dont hate blacks....look through any PR vs Mexican thread and you will see numerous posts putting down PR because they have Afro Puerto Ricans....calling them Changos, Monkeys, Mulatto Mutts etc....

So I ask you, considering Mexico's history, why do Mexicans hate blacks so much....

Cause they do. I hate everyone the same though. I honestly think that there is more blacks that hate Mexicans than Mexicans hating black. Just my opinion though.

this dude right here just nailed it, its because some puerto ricans think they are better, because there citizens of the u.s while mexicans are illegals

that sums it up, me i couldnt care less what any one thinks about me, i was born in the u.s my mom was too but my dad was born in mexicali and was raised in guanajuato and now hes an american citizen, and yes he struggled but hey when you respect people, good things happen and thats what happened to my dad, and i support other mexicans who want the american dream

Interesting.....the thing is, you have to differentiate between African Americans and other blacks.....Im not African American and have never met a Mexican in my life...so I have no reason to hate them...I think the same goes for most black people that aren't African American...I realise there is tension between the two in California etc. but most black non African Americans dont hate Mexican, IMO...
