Anyways, keep voting in the poll.
First, I want to say that I don't care for this match up at 147.

Aren't you already criticizing Manny for potentially fighting JMM at 147, like the Pac fans did for Floyd actually fighting JMM at 147? (Floyd also cheated on the scales).

Manny also fought JMM at his comfortable weight twice, now Manny outgrew him in both size and popularity, so JMM can suck it up if he wants that trilogy.

You sitting here telling me that Cotto & Tony were the same fighters they were when Floyd was in the division as they were when Manny fought them? Get real man. Clottey's never won a big fight. Tony...well, there is no explanation needed and the same with Mosley.
But this is all you guys hold on to. They have one or two fights, get hurt, now they're completely shot. Why was Hagler vs Hearns an attraction after Leonard knocked Hearns out at Welterweight? Or Duran vs Hagler after "No Mas"? In today's standards people would say "Ahhh, what a **** fight". Not to compare our stock of fighters to those guys, but Cotto, Margarito, Clottey, Mayweather just a few short years ago were individually champions at WW and with the exception of Floyd, all 3 of those guys fought one another. Pacquiao comes in, fights ALL of them, but now it gets turned into "They weren't the same guys". But chill, if Floyd had beaten each of those guys respectively in the same time Pacquiao did, all praise due to Floyd.

Completely different circumstances but the Cotto win is still very good.

Manny can make 135, similar to how he used to drain himself back in the days to make 130 and below.

The questions is, why does he has to? Why does Manny need to go to 154? Why does he need to shed to 135? If he doesn't have to, since Floyd is what he wants and they are both at 147.

He doesn't have to. Mayweather won't fight him. So who else is he going to fight that's going to sell tickets?

Cotto II? Bradley? Judah? Morales III? Berto?

A Marquez rematch is probably his best bet.

                  Of course not.

I don't think anyone, including the idiotic Floyd fans gave Floyd credit for beating Marquez at 147.

                  Pacqiuao is no different.

Don't group me in with a "you guys" and I stand on my own and I have my own opinion. There was NO way possible that Cotto and Tony would ever be the same based on the damage each one of them took when they fought each in the summer of 2008.

I think thats the reality of it though, bro. Straight up. I've never called those fighters completey shot or even shot, I just stated that they were not the same. And I really think the writing is on the wall with that.

He's closer to being a light welter that fights as a welterweight. I'm sure that fight can get made if Sergio decides to fight him at 147, and if the price is right of course. The underlined sentence are one of the perks of being on top. I'm pretty sure you knew that...
