I remember when Khan was drawing 9 million viewers fighting bums on ITV. Now he's world champion, one of Britain's finest sporting talents, and he's drawing 5k viewers on an obscure PPV channel. That's just not the way it should be. Decisions like this really hurt the sport. It's sad.

It's ridiculous for Khan to complain about the level of support he's received from UK TV, considering that he's been given more attention and promotion from them than any boxer since the Bruno/Benn/Eubank era.

With the exception of Haye, any other British fighter would love to have just a fraction of the UK TV support that Khan has receieved.

He could have made even more fans with Sky Sports 3 viewers.......very short sighted and greedy.
This is my take on things as well. More people would've seen it on Sky Sports 3 than on PPV. Khan's problem is that he's not getting paid more, that's the beginning and end of it.

the only reason Khan moved it to primetime was so he could have more aof a chance to break even with costs, the last thing he wants to do is make a loss....

why does he have to come up with stuff like this for? its no wonder some people dont like him he needs to have a reality check and know that as bad as it was that a £1,000,000 cut was from his pay cheque is bad because sky did not want to pay for him vs mccloskey that he now wants to turn his back on the u.k.??

Khan's had a decent run on UK tv. Try being in Carl Froch's shoes, you achieve so much and get so (comparatively) little in return.

It's better for him to fight in the USA,the Americans wont allow him to fight bums.Serves him right, needs to be more organised next time.

On another note I wonder if the Americans would welcome him in the unlikely event that he gets clubbed cold by McCloskey

Its pretty much Haye's fault that this happened.

Talking about Khan fleecing the fans and how he should show his fight for free? LOL...

                      Haye vs Harrison....LOL
