    You don't seem to be able to understand and put into words what weaknesses that Wlad does have. Now he's in the ring with the strongest prospect I've seen since George Foreman. Losing to Peter will be no shame anymore than losing to Wlad will derail Peter. These two guys come to fight which is damn sight better than that stable of King's recyclables he calls champs. Most of you guys don't even deserve to watch such a good match. Both these fighters are over your heads.

    i'm not the one that stated wlad hasnt looked good in 4 years, that was roger.... i thought wlad looked fine against castillo and brewster(for 4 rounds anyways).... having now learned that peter has only had 20 amatuer fights and 24 pro fights, i believe he is in over his head and thats why he has only fought poor opposition thus far....

      Like I say, looks a lot like a young George Foreman and he's definitely as strong or stronger even. Peter will hold a belt eventually, win, lose or draw and nobody is going to want to fight him unless he shows a weak chin and even then not that many.

        that could be true, we'll have to see..... but foreman had a decorated amatuer background, winning the gold medal... peter maybe the exception, but other big, strong heavies with limited experience are michael grant, mccline, lance whitaker and derrick jefferson

              =============

              Like you noted, he was decorated, but Foreman only had about 36 amateur bouts. He was a "fast" learner and right out of the Olympics they got Sonny Liston as his sparring partner. Peter falls a little short in amateur experience and pro debut hoopla, but the amateur game today doesn't favor sluggers like Peter as much as it did in Foreman's day.[/I]

                a few more things to consider about the fight...

                - peter has not faced a fighter like wlad before... he hasnt faced anyone as big, skilled, or experienced... this will be a first for him, not only his first big fight, but his first quality opponent, his first super sized opponent...
                - wlad on the other hand, has faced fighters that were smaller, strong and big punchers... peter will bring nothing new to wlad, nothing wlad hasnt experienced before...

                combine this with the fact wlad has more fights as a pro than peter has had his entire career and it just seems like peter is in over his head, just last year peter was fighting a guy that was 6-4...of course peter still has the one factor that can change everything in a blink of an eye, his big punching power...

                  This is true of every fighter until they do fight a top guy. Just because Peter hasn't fought a top level guy doesn't mean he would lose to one

                  And what Peter brings is power and Wlad has had plenty of BAD experiences with power..

                  Keep in mind that although more experienced Peter is undefeated and Wlad is not, Peter knows about winning, Wlad knows how to blow up in style, ala Sanders and Brewster.

                  Can't see here how Wlad is so much better, but we'll see Saturday!

                      2. Harrison fought Peter in the Ametures. Talking about how he went into a shell as a 16 year old has no bearing in this fight. It's a whole different ball game.

                      If Wlad wins, it's going to be one of two reasons. 1) Peter doesn't have good chin / doesn't like being hit , or 2) Peter doens't have the stamina. In both cases, thoese aren't excuses, they make Wlad the better man.
                      The comments by Harrison about how he reacted to being hit when he was 16 wouldn't br relevant EXCEPT that he still does it now. If you watch one of Peter's fights where the other guy actually hits him back, he stops punching.
