Berta the sissy and most black boxers hug too much. That´s the reason nobody watches their fights. Holding without a reason, and to take advantage should be penalized. I fsomeone hugs more than three times per round, a point should be deducted immediately. Mexicans don´t hold, that´s why Mosley defeated Margarito, by holding. Whatta black coward.

Holding is a smart tactical illegal move[illegal if you do it excessively], that not many fighters use but those who use it end up fighting for longer than those who don't do it.

If Cotto held Margarito, like Williams and Mosley did, he would have won because the fight was close with Cotto fighting toe to toe, so a little holding would have saved Cotto.

I somewhat agree with this post,holding is a part of boxing but to do it as often as Berto did it in the collazo fight and the Urango fight that's where the problem comes in..

A true student of the game would know that holding is actually illegal in the sport of boxing, but allowed by referees who have been coached on which fighter is "preferred" to win.

I'm afraid of Ortiz's running. This is his opportunity to gain the respect of hardcore fans and the attention of casual fans. By being "Cautious" Victor Ortiz, he won't get either.

Good for ortiz. I like befto but the constant hugging needs to stop. Its illegal for a reason. Saying fighters that hug last longer is like saying baseball players who use hgh play longer. That might be true but it doesn't make it any less illegal. Points better get taken away, hugging is to boxing what wrestling is to mma. It slows down the action, ruins a good fight, and most importantly turns off both casual fans and hard core fans. Its a sorry tactic that needs to be weeded out of the game. Its illegal and the refs should do way more to cut this crap out. Even though im pulling for berto, ill be happy to see him catch one in the nutts if he go's all care bear and hugs all night.
