Berto def likes to hold way too much. I remember he got a pt taken away when he fiught Collazo. Hope the ref does a good job of not letting him hold Ortiz all night.

Holding is a smart tactical illegal move[illegal if you do it excessively], that not many fighters use but those who use it end up fighting for longer than those who don't do it.

If Cotto held Margarito, like Williams and Mosley did, he would have won because the fight was close with Cotto fighting toe to toe, so a little holding would have saved Cotto.

At least they are looking at one of the things that should be concerning to them. If Ortiz can keep Berto off him he can win, but if Berto drags the fight into the mud it is over with for Ortiz probably by uppercut.

Berto gona start holding like he's life depends and it gets so annoying ever since that collazo fight the guy starts this holding and hugging Andre 'the Teddy bear' Berto HAHAHA maybe the guy realized that by holding he won't get nailed and it is true but u can only do that with guy who r there to b hit or pressure fighter Ortiz is not a pressure fighter he very rangey so I hope to see much more less holding

Andre Berto is the one who should be concerned with Victor Ortiz's cheating tactics.

On June 3, 2005, Victor Ortiz intentionally landed an illegal punch on his opponent. Victor Ortiz was rightfully disqualified.

On December 10, 2010, Victor Ortiz intentionally cheated on the scales by showing up overweight in the weigh-ins for his December 11, 2010 fight. Victor Ortiz still got a gift draw for that fight.
