None of the promoters have the pull or invested their "hard earned" cash to invest in Marketing; Which makes Snob Arum point a better one, even that I think it should be what the fans want to see. But yeah, Snob is right when it comes to the other promoters not spending much money to make their boxers stars.

Because I would rather see Berto fight a WW.

I'm still definitely going to watch this fight, though.

HBO WCB matches don't get any promotion. The most they will get is a banner here and there, like in Times Square, or other big cities. I am excited for this match.

Add in, so many people who hate Berto. If you're being realistic, Collazo, Quintana, Ortiz, Urango, Forbes is as tough of a lineup as Presscott, Kotelnik, Salita, Malignaggi, Maidana, even tougher...I would say Collazo and Quintana are better than every one in Khan's resume except for maybe Maidana but not by much.

People are looking at what Berto is getting paid, and they expect for him to fight guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao[he called out Pacquiao but Pacquiao is too busy fighting 40 year olds and no hopers], he called out Cotto but Arum is being an old piece of crap not wanting co promoting. So then who does he fight? Forget Cintron, I don't want to see that guy near my TV screen ever again. He's a waste of a Saturday night, jumping out of the ring and crying foul from a punch.

I'm going. It's going to be a good one. Poor undercard, but the main event should deliver.

There are no WW's to fight. Mr "You have to be a free agent to fight my fighters" has Pacquiao, Mosley, Mike Jones and Clottey. Haymon is not gonna let Mayweather and Berto fight, that's bad business move to have your 2 undefeated fighters go at it, as an adviser. Ortiz is better than Zaveck.

There's no one else to fight and Ortiz moved up to 147 on his own, he had to, he was fighting as a Junior Middleweight at Jr Welterweight.

I agree. I think this is a really good fight and is being overlooked and am guilty if not talking about it myself, but I do acknowledge it will be entertaining. The reason well maybe because I believe its not casual fan friendly since unless your fallowing boxing you would know the background of this fighters to care enough.

Ortiz boxing career is riding on this fight. Ortiz is bitter because Oscar now has downgrade him from GBP prospect to show case fighter for Berto. This explains Ortiz's bitterness and no give a **** attitude. His no longer fronting the clean nice guy image directed by GBP since his future there is riding out. The more candid Ortiz is the more I feel what Brandon said about Ortiz to gain merit.

What ever happened to the suffer humble valley boy. Now his rapping and thunging out lol.........

i'm actually really excited for this fight, ortiz has a "do or die" situation imo.
he couldn't cut it at 140, so he moved up to 147. if he doesn't look good against berto, let alone beat him, he'll be pretty much done in being taken serious...hope he shows up ready to fight his heart out.
berto is going to face someone with power, if ortiz isn't gunshy like before. hopefully this fight will be two young talented fighters trying to prove themselves and putting on a great fight.

because HBO are so dumb, all allocated budget already allocated to Berto's purse, no more left for promotion! lol.
