Damn, great ways to promote a fight.
Still gonna be the biggest event in boxing history come November.

Since I've been watching (86)
I gotta say Floyd.
Check Hook, Pull Counter, Left Jab to Body and Head, Uppercuts left and right, Good power, greatest accuracy.
Roy is the fastest and most breathtaking.
Tyson the most fearsome.
Pacman and Pryor the most relentless.

If it happens at this point Id be shocked. They already ruined it when the sports world was waiting for the fight, now it is just an afterthought (if that) for the casual viewers.

Mind games have gone back and forth so lets not lump all the hate to one side. There's only one statement from the Mayweather camp you should be concerned with:
"Can Manny Pacquiao beat you?"
MM: "Absolutely not"
Hater:
person who feels anger and/or jealousy for someone who has succeeded in something they have worked hard for.
A being who speaks badly,and/or takes negative actions in attempt to create problems for a successful person.
That's Floyd.

Originally posted by Deedubbzz07 View PostFloyd doesn't just say it would be an easy fight. There's a difference between talking about how easy a man is to beat and downplaying another man's success. He goes on to try to discredit Pac's wins and his career by constantly mentioning his 3 losses. He's clearly bothered by Pac's success. The thing that gave it away was when he was crying about how Pac gets love from American's and he doesn't. That "how come nobody loves me" attitude made it clear that he is jealous of Pac.

Originally posted by studentofthegam View PostNope. Pacquiao fighting Mosley, as one sided as it is expected to be, will keep the torch burning. God forbid he knocks Shane out. Hate at an all time high for Floyd and love at an all time high for Pacquiao. Revenue at an all time high for me in the fall. LOL. Look at how many years went by before Hagler and Leonard locked up. It was still as big as it would have been or even bigger. Floyd will be fighting in the summer and the hype starts all over again. If they get together in November it breaks every viewing record in the book guaranteed.
Bob Arum and Pacquiaos camp arent as obnoxious about it but they try and write off a fight with Floyd every chance they get... "We agreed to OST he still doesn't wanna fight; He rejected 50 mil to fight; He didn't call me before 12AM so we are fighting Margarito." Whatever BS they are spewing lately.
The best time for the fight to be done was after Mayweather smoked JMM and Pac smoked Cotto... people were clamoring for the fight because it was fresh and the peak of both of those guys popularity.
The fight will obviously break records but the fact that both of these guys dragged us through almost two years of bull**** making excuses not to fight is enough for me to label both of them jackasses.
Comparing boxing now to when Hagler and Leonard around is crazy cause people actually gave a **** about boxing then rather then now.
