I don't condone Khan treating his opponents like dirt (financially), but if Peterson was really the hungry young (well actually not even that young anymore) fighter we want him to be, he would take the Khan fight for even less the first time around to prove a point. He'd accept Khan's BS offer for a rematch to show that he is truly "the best in the division" as he stated in another article published here. Then, after taking the short end of the stick to earn his stripes, he'd be in the position to dictate his future foes.
But, alas, Peterson unfortunately doesn't seem to be that kind of fighter.
I agree with Paulf here, as I often do, great poster by the way, fighters these days just want to earn the highest amount of money the easiest possible way. There is no longer taking fights for peanuts so that they dethrone those who have abused them at the negotiation table.
