I can't give imagine giving Maidana any wider a margin than 7-5. He landed a lot of good shots, but a lot that appeared to land were deflected, rolled etc.

I need to rewatch, but I had a draw watching live. Again, if Maidana truly won, I can't see it being a wider margin than 7-5.

I wish Erik had been able to finish stronger. It would have a fairytale end to an already fairytale performance.

Yeah I think Im done with Maidana. Its not like he does it even remotely in the context of the rules. He's just a 5yr old throwing a tantrum. But he's well received on boxingscene????? Similar train of thought.

Morales should have done more in the last two rounds. Instead Morales took a breather and he let Maidana dictate the last round. So, it is not a big surprise that Maidana got the majority decision. No, robbery happening it was just good judging provided by those officials.

Morales should focus in getting back more in shape and building more stamina. Honestly, watching the fight for the third time Morales can dominate Bradley. Bradley is a straight come forward fighter with no power. Bradley will get rocked by Morales every time he comes rushing in head first. And to add more, Bradley doesn't have speed what he did against Alexander were to clinch and go inside neutralizing Alexander's quick hands. Last criticism to add, Bradley will fall because he isn't a great defensive fighter and a power puncher but an offensive fighter with heart which isn't enough against Morales' heart, technique, and power.
Maidana didnt win the first for rounds. All those worthless punches with no power that he threw behind Erik's head. Punching over the ref. I was just hoping we could see some of that old Morales that would foul his ass back.

Co-sign... If anyone can name one father who agreed their son did indeed lose a close fight, I would like to know...

The only time I have ever seen something like this is when Freddie Roach told Carlos Hernandez "you won the fight" when he fought Bobby Pacquiao, which Roach was BP's trainer (BP won a 10 round split decision). It was clearly audible on the telecast and I have yet to see anyone else (father, trainer or otherwise) ever do that...

I respect Maidana overall, but he does have moments which aren't endearing.

Punches after the bell, shots to the back of the head, tried to cheap shot Khan, he's a dirty fighter through and through.

Wrong. I've never liked Maidana since the Ortiz fight.

The hype was getting out of control. I thought shot ass Corley put an end to the hype by outclassing Maidana in his home country...but I was wrong people were still hyping him up. Then Amir outclassed Maidana in the first 9 rounds only to get stunned in the 10th because of his weak chin....and the hype got even bigger . Now that a one-eyed shot to **** career featherweight beat Maidana up. It is time to end the hype. It's been going on for far too long.

Besides, I've never seen anyone get zero hate for faking a back injury to get out of a fight. .

Maidana is a brawler and a slugger, but thats part of boxing. Deal with it.
Punching over the ref? You mean the ref running in between them while Maidana is fighting? Thats not illegal, and thats why he wasnt warned for it.
Morales lost, and clearly, to the better man that night. It was a great performance by Erik, but he lost fair and square. People need to get over it.

Corley out classed him? Losing a fight by a wide margin is outclassing somebody? Come on, dude, its one thing to like one fighter more than another, but the bias here is literally pathetic.
Also, Khan didnt outclass him. Khan's faster hands gave Maidana trouble, just like Maidana's power gave Khan trouble. Your boy Khan was lucky to get away with a W in that fight, and was lucky Cortez saved him several times.
Dont like Maidana? fine. But dont be delusional about it.
