Very difficult to say. For Lemieux I think it's more mental, for Kirkland I think it's more schooling. I don't think Lemieux needs to make major changes to the way he goes about things. He needs to calm down in the ring and stop loading up every punch. Kirkland really needs to change his tactics. He's so wide open all the time. He needs a new trainer and needs to throw whatever gameplan he has out the window.

I'd say it would be easier for Lemieux to come back, and it's more likely he would have a successful career but you can never count out Kirkland.

David fought ****** and got out smarted by a legit veteran. He can adjust and possibly come back. He will prob not end up a p4p fighter but that was pretty unlikely anyways Kirkland left his chin in prison that aint coming back therefore IMO unless he makes some kinda miraculous recovery of it he's done. No amount of training is going to suddenly help him in that department. He got stopped by a guy noted to have zero power. It ain't looking good for him ...

              Krkland.

He can make more excuses to himself and say he wasn't ready and he got caught.

David is probably questioning everything about himself right now.

Agree on this aspect, but Kirkland making excuses for himself is not going to win him fights especially if he doesn't make changes.

Lemieux questioning himself could cause him to make subtle changes, train harder, and get to the elite level.

Lemieux is young which makes it easier to develop and polish his skills and turn him into a great fighter. On the other hand, Kirkland is an older fighter that has been fighting with a no defense all offense style for quite some time which might make it difficult to create technical changes at this stage of his career. I think Lemieux will have an easier time bouncing back.

Come on. Rubio is a 50+ fight vet noted to have decent pop. And davids only a 22yr yr old kid that made mistakes. many young prospects stumble going against a tru veteran.

He can make a ton of excuses that are much easier to swallow then Kirkland. James got hurt with every punch from a featherfisted fighter there's no way to sugarcoat that.
