no one said kirkland was gonna beat martinez... just that martinez should fight kirkland. if that was martinez KOing kirkland, martinez would've been the first to KO kirkland and take kirkland's undefeated record. some of you guys are dumb.

There would be nothing to gain from taking Kirkland's 0 because he is an untested fighter. People wouldn't focus on Martinez taking the 0 of a worthy adversary ( because Kirkland is not), they would focus on an untested fighter getting exposed.

There's no reason why Kirkland should get a shot at Martinez, he has not done enough.

Kirkland didn't look the same last night as before he went to prison.

I'm not sure why. He did have two other recent warm-up fights.
