I really don't know anyone that said that. Serg's style would be very tough for a face first kind of fighter like James. James walks in straight lines for crying out loud. Plus he has poor defense and against a guy with punches like Serg he would be getting blistered by shots he wouldn't see. He could put up a fight against anyone else though.

idk why they split up, every interview of kirkland, he doesn't want to talk about it. she had him working hard though, check out the ring life vids on YT and stuff. he was able to walk through punches from harder punchers than ishida. he deff didn't take this fight seriously or was over worked with 3 fights in 5 weeks (something like that). that and he didn't protect himself like someone should. but now he can't turn back time, just needs to accept it, work harder, and fix his flaws...
