Anyway, I rewatched that fight sober, and he was knocked down by a downward JAB, also his chin hit Ashida's shoulder on the way down, not sure if that contributed to the damage.

kirkland needs to take it easy, fix his flaws, and find a good trainer.

i think kirkland actually has a VERY good chance to run through all of those guys from 154 to 160. willams. i just don't see that fight turning out pretty for williams, i have a feeling that williams isn't even gonna be able to hurt kirkland. (Martinez) martinaz was knocked out by a similar style as kirklands own. (margarito/insane pressure) and Martinez is always off balance and falling from the slightest punch. that will work in kirklands favor.
