Maybe got a lil personal with my comment but it just annoys me that everytime theres a great competitive close fight theres a thread screaming robbery its just ridiculous and aswell as that your calling Maidana a bum is just ****** as hes Amir's best win and he went life and death with Maidana

id be cool with a draw but i couldnt say maidana won it personally but i can see the argument for it... i just thought the more effective work came from erik

they both us a cracking bout.... maidana can throw bombs non stop for 12 rounds and only slightly slowed down... morales showed us that dealing with a come forward but somewhat basic ****er is something he knows how to do....

age, workrate,conditioning, power were all elements that came into play... but both men showed they got wills that cant be broken

great fight and love the fact that morales wants to do it again and so does marcos... we need more guys like this

I would of had it as a draw, 114-114. Morales is still a massive winner in my eyes though. He really showed us what the sport is all about. What a way to cap off a legendary career.

People scored more in favor of Morales because of the unexpected. I saw letterman give him a few rds that he didn't deserve. Maidana would do all the work and Morales would make a small comeback and WOWWWW he gets the rd.

I thought 116-112 was a good score. For Maidana.

El Terrible is a living legend. And it saddens me to say but Maidana is just a bum with power on Amir's record.

You know something, i never saw the fight, but by what i have read, it seems as if people think Morales won.

Even Floyd senior said he thought Morales deserved at least a draw......meaning he really thinks Morales won. But having not got the decision a draw would have been acceptable.

Great fight, Morales completely surprised me how he faught....

I had it a draw.

But there is no way Maidana won. No way. Morales made him miss all night long. One would have thought that since Terrible had a bubble over his eye from the end of the second round, that Marcos would have had a field day with Morales for the next couple of rounds until he knocked him out. But that wasn't the case. Morales showed great defensive technique by slipping and and avoiding so many punches throughout the fight, then by countering and making him pay with some solid punching of his own.

Twice now, Morales has been given losses when the worst he should have gotten, was a draw. The Diaz fight being the other instance.

The fact that anyone is giving Morales rd 2 is fucking crazy. Maidana won the first 4 rds IMO. The 3rd was close.
