Erik 'El Terrible' Morales got robbed. He beat Maidana.

    I scored it 116-113 Morales.

El Terrible is a living legend. And it saddens me to say but Maidana is just a bum with power on Amir's record.

I have always said from the begnning that Maidana is just a bum with power. I was hoping he could become something so Amir's win over him could become more impressive but I just can't.

not a chance. Morales had some excellent rounds in the fight, but Maidana was just more active, landed more, and did more damage in more rounds than Morales.

and dont give me 'Maidana's punches were ineffective'. clubbing and crude as he is, he ****ed Morales eye up bad and had him exhausted in a lot of rounds. even getting hit on the arms and shoulders hurts, if youve ever actually boxed before.

gutsy performance by Morales as I expected, but he just didnt have enough left in him to close the show.

I disagree it was a close fight .... Maidana was the aggressor and finished strong but Morales schooled maidana in the early rounds and had the cleaner more effective work. I had morales winning the fight by a round.

i was nervous for him before the fight and after a few rounds i though, maybe he can win, but he didn't. maidana clearly won. if he was in his prime, erik would have destroyed maidana.

I disagree. Morales landed way more effective and cleaner punches. A lot of punches from Maidana were blocked by Morales elbow. Morales was also moving his head away very cleverly to nullify Maidana's right hand.

Morales eye became sore after the 1st round. A one-eyed shot to **** career featherweight beat Maidana.

it was a close fight, but I dont see how Morales 'schooled' Maidana in the early rounds. hell, those were some of Maidanas best rounds.

Maidana did good very early and late. Morales picked up a number of rounds inbetween.

Don't ruin a great fight by talking about a robbery. It was a very close fight that could have gone either way, with many tough to score rounds. You'd basically have to give every questionable round to Morales to say it's a robbery.

he landed the cleaner, more damaging punches in some rounds. but just not enough of them. Maidana swept the first two and last two rounds, and did more damage in a few others. Maidana missed a lot of punches, but he still landed more than Morales most the time.

prime Morales would have KOed Maidana, no question. I thought that before the fight. but he just didnt win this fight.
