So... Morales was shot to pieces when Manny fought him!?

The third Morales fight was not Pac's fault.
My point is that MAB-Pac rematch was not a waste of time when it was in discussion the first time (after the Morales-Pac rematch). But I agree it was a waste of time when it actually happened.Last edited by mikemurni; 04-10-2011, 11:43 AM.Comment

And, that is what I referring to.
It was a waste of time just like the 3rd Morales fight.
2 garbage as fights that should not have happened.
He should of fought Joan Guzman or Humberto Soto around this time.

Excatly, I am in agreement with you on both counts. I am just explaining why there is a 3rd fight.
Soto and Guzman were good fights but they were not money fights like Morales, EM, and Marquez. Pac a needed a popular side B to compliment his popularity to boost up the PPV buys. And he can only get that by fighting MAB, EM, JMM. He couldnt headline a PPV on his own at that time.Comment

your sig just shows how much of a pacquiao nuthugger you are. First of all, morales had a hard time making weight the second time around, he wanted a catchweight and was denied it. Even hbo analysts were saying how bad morales looked physically during the pre fight build ups.
BUT after about 5-6 rounds, those same HBO analysts were saying Morales looked good and perhaps 130 was too high for the smaller Manny. The reason is that at that point Morales was taking control of the fight and was headed for victory, IF it continued that way.
Not long after the HBO commentators said that, Manny had a huge round in which changed the momentum completely.
As for denying a catch-weight, they were fighting for a 130 (limit) division title.Comment
