  • Boxing fans are the most bandwagon ruthless fans on earth KIRKLAND WAS NOT EXPOSED!!

You serious? This man obliterated and walked through Vera & Julio's best punches. Goes to jail for 2 years, takes a fight against a game live fighter with 3 weeks to train, loses and now he's exposed? GET THE **** OUTTA HERE!!!

I ain't making no excuses either, I said Ishida will give him a tough test and cause some problems just because he was never stopped. Except I didn't expect it that soon. His chin didn't fail him his defense did. he would have gotten back up. Brawlers always put themselves at risk to put be floored by being caught off balance. Ishida was too clean and too crisp for him tonight.

And I'll leave the rest for Natas. If your an NFL fan and think Plaxico Burress will be a monster as soon as he steps onto that field from jail after being away a year your sadly mistaken. Same thing...

It's the same in football, if you ever watch you always hear commentators talk about a guy who's been injured for a long time and he comes back in a game for the first time and they say something like, "he's just not adjusted to the speed of the game yet". Same type of thing for kirkland I think, he's not in boxing shape. He's physically in good shape, but not boxing shape.

was gonna happen sooner or later, kid. he just doesnt have the chin to be a brawler or the skill to box. he just need to quit boxing and find another job.

Were all guilty of overreacting after each fight just some take it further than others. The thing about this loss that makes you wonder is the guy who stopped him isnt known as a big puncher.

You take 2 years off away from something and come back see if your still good at it. He fought 2 bums WITH NO CHANCE then took a fight against a live fighter in 3 weeks, underestimated and lost. Big deal. It's going to take some time. He'll be back.

He was going to get back up though, he wasn't going to get knocked out. Ishida like I said was too crisp and pressure fighters get dropped ALL THE TIME because they get caught off balance.

it is true. the first knockdown, he was caught off guard and imo he never recovered from it. he doesn't have a strong chin, so he was bound to get knocked down again....his other two fights after being released were against nobodies, gbp shouldve let him take it easy after berrio...it is what it is, he needs to accept it and learn from it. hopefully he does, dude has power and with good training like he had with wolfe, he wasn't bad at all.

Kirkland got put on ***** street by a soft-ass puncher. It wasn't like the fight was stopped simply because of a punch he didn't see. The dudes legs were gone, he was hurt by those punches. In his last fight, he damn near lost his legs when the dude jabbed him from the corner.

I'd say he got exposed. It was the equivalent of getting KTFO by Malignaggi.

I said it earlier and I will say it again. His new trainer is what is ruining him. They are trying to tame his style in there. To get him to fight tighter and not as reckless. The problem is that old recklessness is what he was and provided a natural defense. Opponents were afraid to exchange with him, now they are not.

He needs Anne Wolfe back. He simply does not fight with the same fire without her.

He might of gotten up but it seem like he was getting stunned by every punch and his night wasnt goin to get any better. But kirkland needs to get a trainer who will push him and make into a beast again but with out bein so careless and walking into punches.

I am kinda shocked that he got really hurt (they weren't all flash kd's ) vs such a weak puncher. What happened in jail??
