Nice poise by Rubio early on,great win for him.I do think Lemieux's corner stopped him a bit prematurely though.

that was a great fight!!!!!!! i think he could of lasted the round but i think his trainer had never seem him et rocked like that so he stopped it...great upset!!!! -
Rubio just said that he lemieux does hit hard but he's a type of fighter that opens himself up.. He Felt his punches get weaker.. That's when he attacked.Comment

Yo Mark, I saw it coming my man. I saw Lemieux slowly starting to tire and when he didn't get Rubio out early, I thought that he would find himself in a fight. Lemieux kind of reminded me of Ricky Hatton with his style just a little bit minus the holding and I think he trying to throw all of those big shots hurt him.Comment

You could see that during the fight in the 5th rd Lemieux land a right hand and Rubio had a look on his face like that didnt hurt after that he opened up his hands a bit and started timing Lemieux with pin point counters,i wonder if he will fire his trainer after this obviously they did not train him to fight through adversity.Comment

I cant believe people actually thought Lemiuex was anything special. I cant say I expected Rubio to expose him but it was bound to happen.Comment
