The answer is very simple. It's pyschological warfare.

Both guys wanna feel they got over on the other guy to feed their massive egos and gain any advantage they can whether real or imagined.

Considering Floyd has NEVER weighed over the WW limit of 147 pounds for a WW fight.

      Thanks guys.

We all know Floyd wouldnt ever come in over 147, so it was not a hard request from Pac at all. Pac knew Floyd would never come in over 147 as well, so why *****s say FLoyd agreed to all Pacs requests like it was some kind of big deal is anyones guess? Floyd knew it wasnt a big request of manny.

So again it was Floyd making negotiations hard as we all know.

pacquiao should take the tests but the way people talk about him fighting bums and any counter puncher will kick the sht outta him im wondering how come you lot become so hypocritical when it comes to floyd, somehow now it isn't fair, floyd's suppossed to be better than marquez right? so what's the deal?
Aw come on man. Decides to cheat on weight? Making weight is much harder than taking a needle in the vain.

        Stop it man.

Pac can kiss babies, shoot movies, do talk shows, do 24/7's, cheat on his wife, play basketball, club with celebs, get drunk, train and spar during camp but 2 guys with USADA caps make him shake?

        Stop it.

that's not the point tho is it, the point is you MUST make weight to begin with, REGARDLESS of pacquiao, you'll pay a fine, and it is CHEATING, and how many fighters dont make weight anyway? very little chance floyd doesn't make weight, that's why im saying, NO BIG DEAL.
there is a very SMALL chance, if floyd doesn't make weight it's cuz he wants to cheat, like he did vs marquez, and IF, big IF, then he pays a big fine

am i getting through to you at all?

I'm comparing the principle behind the two. If I'm clean, I'll pay any test no matter how stringent it is. If we fight at 147, I won't be overweight because I've always made the official weights. Again, I'm looking at the principle

And...? These are professional athletes that get paid to do a lot of work. What's blood testing going to affect?

Look at the guys he's fought since he walked away from the testing. Clottey, Tony and Mosley.

            What isn't fair, exactly?

Apparently, yes. I had a Pinoy tell me yesterday this whole testing thing had a cultural aspect to it.

Who in the HECK is slow, dude. I get that point. THE TESTING IS NO BIG DEAL EITHER, unless, of course..... Do you get that point or are YOU slow? If Manny is as clean as they say he is, THE TESTING IS NOTHING. I get your point so don't think I'm some idiot, its too early in the morning for all that.
