I have heard that from all the boxing experts, trainers and fighters so I would believe it. I always thought the uppercut would be equally deadly or at least a close second. I have never been hit by either though so I can't really tell.

It is harder to hit someone with a flush uppercut. Anyway I wouldn't say it is the deadliest punch in the sport, it really depends on who is throwing the punch.
