If it is properly set up sure, I don't like off hand hook artists because they fall in love with it and forget about how to truly set it up.

But a perfectly set up, perfectly thrown left hook (from an orthodox stance) is a thing of beauty and the effects are devastating.

The first knockdown in the 12th round of Trinidad-Vargas was a thing of beauty. The left hook from Tito is classic, the way it looks like he barely taps him in the chin yet Vargas' head spinned from side to side.
