Yes, no doubt. The U.S has done nothing but exploit the people of PR and Mexico the same, just in different ways.

PR was a strategic island for the U.S and was won during the Spanish American War, well won might not be the best word, more like INVADED. Puerto Ricans have been forced into military actions since then.

As far as Mexico, people like borderpatrol show their ignorance and how taling heads have influenced the mindless sheep that don't have a clue about immigration. Most of the undocumented workers come because American companies continue to hire them and it's good for the economy. The "facts" about the violence and drug selling is so over exaggerated that if you actually look at the stats, crime is actually less prevalent in the "illegal" community. Of course there is a criminal element but that's only to come and supply the drugs Americans consume.

If any side, being the ******s from the mexican side or the ******s from the Puerto Rico side were to put anything almost racist about Filipinos, the threads wouldn't last a few minutes.
