He is a bit of an unknown quantity in many regards, we don't know about his heart, his chin, how he would deal with opposition as he steps up, but he is hammer fisted and one shot from a guy like that can erase a shutout score card against him as we all know.

Yes because this guy has been in the ring with fighters with even half the skill of Martinez. I love these young pups that haven't accomplished anything but feel the need to run their mouth. Lemieux has done nothing in his career to make anyone believe he would even be competitive with a top fighter like Martinez. Here's a tip for these young guns. Shut your mouth, beat quality fighters and then do your talking.

We don't really know that though IMO he hasn't proved his power on decent level let alone a world level, this upcoming fight will be a better indicator of what we have seen so far ofcourse, but even if he disposes of Rubio in spectacular fashion it won't conclude if hes a top p4p puncher.

Fair enough but against the comp he has fought you can hear the thudding sound when he lands, it leads me to believe his power is real and not a product of opposition.

He definitely has real power. Not only can you hear them, but you can see how he can send 160+ lb fighters reeling in the same direction as as his punches when he lands anywhere on them.

The question as he steps up in class is will he be able to land against an elite fighter in a consistent manner without getting tagged and dispatched himself. He is going to be treading in more dangerous waters with guys who are more durable and can still carry out their own game plan.

I like his confidence. He is starting to get that belief that he can't fail. If he can maintain that belief even when taken into deep waters, he could be a force to be reckoned with. Time will tell.

Perhaps, but the question is whether he can land full force on world class opposition. Like I think Travis Walker can ****, he's just not good enough to land anything of note on a world class level, except maybe on a whale like Arreola.
