I just don't understand peoples reactions. A reporter asks a boxer a questions if he can beat someone. He says he thinks he can and explains why.

This is ****ing boxing, not the NBA, not the NFL, ****y, arrogant, ignorant, etc, everything a NBA or NFL'er wants to say a boxer can..... It's been done through history. Like I said confidence is 50% of the game.

Sure, but perhaps go watch the Maidana/Ortiz fight

And, my list will start with Mugabe, no need to go back further

I don't have a problem at all with what he said, fair play to him.

Confidence and self-belief are a HUGE part of success in the ring.

I just seriously doubt his claim, we have heard it all before.

But, fair play to him, and you never know.

Ok, I respect that. If you just don't feel he can that's fine, but I just dont get the guys getting mad that he said it.

Maybe he will turn out to be another John "The Beast" Mugabi.

This reminds me of When steward said Andy lee was ready for Winky at 15-0 and got steam rolled by Vera, its nice dude has confidence but he has not been tested but yet he can break down Martinez and knock him out, right now I label him as a clown till proven otherwise. that's like me saying I hit some homeruns in softball, **** I can hit one off of sabathia

Love the confidence Lemieux is showing---him and Martinez would be a cracking fight.
