To me shot is someone who has been through wars and cant pull the trigger like he use to or whose speed and punching power arent what they once were. Someone who struggles against an opponent that they should run through.
my examples are Margarito-went through a war with Cotto then got KO'd by shane then just straight ***ed up against Pac. Any fighter (except Gatti maybe) would be shot after that run
Mosley-has been through some wars and cant pull the trigger, doesnt slip punches like he use to. Can go a full 12 but is obviously tired after 6 and has to take a few rounds off just to go the full 12
Evander Holyfield who is just way too old and in great shape for being his age but in no shape to be boxing.
Morales who went through so many wars and all the damage took its toll on him
Vargas for going through wars so early in his career and having too much heart and passion so instead of clinching and holding to survive he went out on his shield for the love of the sport and his fans but it ***ed him up in the long term

          Lets list names....

To me... Oscar Del Lahoya was shot when he fought Manny.... His body just couldn't do it... Reflexes were gone....

Many people claim that Cotto is shot but I don't think hes shot just aging and slowing.....

Margarito May be shot.... Based on his fight with Manny....

Mosely is shot..... like Oscar... His youthful stamina and reflexes are no longer.

Don't Think Hatton was shot... Just got his ass beat by Floyd and Manny.

question: why does Miguel always pluck his eyebrows? Does he want to be a woman?

I dont completeley agree if you lose once you are shot, but for some fighters one loss has detroyed them. Jermain Taylor and Kelly Pavlik come to mind. Sometimes that first loss can expose a lot of weaknesses in a fighter.
