Mosley still walked away, Mora is not a bigger risk, especially based on being taller, lol really, Berto is a big boy still don't mean he gets what he wants, did Cintron pursue the fight with Dibella? Usually that's what a promoter and manager do is make decisions hence the reason they are hired. that's great mosley sold.out the staples, its awesome under Floyds name they sold 1.4 and under Manny I'm sure they will sell 1.4 mill, but once again these are all speculations as to why Berto - Mosley didn't happen, I will.give.you this you put together a nice believable presentation, but the fact is Mosley walked away because Berto wanted 50-50, The fact is you believe with some twisted logic Berto did that on purpose to not fight Mosley, god forbid someone think they deserve 50-50. And again how is Mosley really gonna help no one gives Floyd credit, Manny wont get credit especially not from me, but Berto will. Dude tbh we are as much on the inside as any boxing analyst,what do we do all day but read inside info on fighters..Fact is of course Mosley walk away what did Berto bring to the table??A weak resume,not a draw,his belt won off Ricky Martin who I might add was not the Champion(aka paper belt).. Oh stop with all this hate. Berto is a very good fighter who has been overpaid by HBO, he's trying to get huge money to fight top guys when he's the one stepping up to bigger comp. He (or his handlers) don't realize they need to take a temporary pay cut to get long term payoff. He may be slightly boneheaded (or more likely his managment team), but I think it's evident that he's willing to fight the top guys.
if you're accusing him of wanting nothing to do with Mosley what is you're rational behind that? Do you think he created the earthquake himself just to have an excuse? round 2 of negotiations he simply got greedy, it happens. he thinks he's worth more money than he really is.

My rational is that Mosley was a very dangerous opponent at the time who had beaten the living **** out of Antonio Margarito. Berto had a slim chance at winning the fight but it was ok because had he lost, it was "Sugar Shane Mosley." Once he was dismantled by Mayweather, a loss to Mosley would expose Berto for the phony he was. If he really felt like he could beat Shane Mosley he would have taken the fight but instead opted to fight Freddy Hernandez.

Where do you get that I believe he created the earthquake himself? I said it was very convenient for him. Had the quake not happened it could have been a sore back, wrist, ankle, etc. The bottom line is I don't believe he wants to fight Mosley. He claims that there is a financial reason for not fighting Mosley, yet he fights Freddy Hernandez and Mosley has since been on the big stage with Mayweather and Pacquiao.

I don't know who Berto thinks he is. He's an overrated feather fisted soft chin fairy if you ask me. Watch him get outclassed and knocked down by second rate journeyman and then tell me he's really ready to step up to a crisp accurate boxer like Shane Mosley who's punches are so sharp and precise he could pierce Berto in the blink of an eye.

Berto is out of his element against even 2011 Mosley and that's just the truth. If you like Berto then I think it's safe to say you haven't watched much boxing. If you've watched enough of the greatest fighters of the last 100+ years you will not have a hard time picking a phony out of a lineup and believe me when I say that Andre Berto is a phony and I would be utterly shocked if he were to step up and fight a real fighter and win, and win in spectacular fashion.

And I do not want to get into a debate about money because nobody knows what these advisers are thinking so lets not pretend to know. Berto can say whatever he wants and feel entitled to whatever he wants but that doesn't mean that he deserves it and the fact that he has not gotten a big fight tells us he either prices himself out, or he really doesn't want the fights.

Berto doesn't even deserve this kind of discussion when there are guys like Martinez, Mosley, Maidana, Khan, Donaire, etc.

Those are real deal fighters who fight everybody and don't seem to always have to come up with the "money" excuse... And he's Andre freaing Berto. He should be making 50k per fight and he's making over 900k to fight guys like Freddy Hernandez. What would he want to fight Pacquiao or Mayweather, 25 million? Then he can say they're scared of him.

Money is a nice curtain to hide behind when you know deep in your heart that you can't beat someone.

Im not really attempting to say that Berto could beat any of these guys!! I do think Floyd would box berto, I do think that Cotto has a high chance, nothing to say about Manny.

What im saying is, Berto is just too dangerous with little reward, people already discredit him, so alot of top boxers feel that beating him won't help there legacy, and the money for the fight wont be that great, so alot of people would rather not take the chance with this young dangerous fight, with little reward.

Also the Berto fight would have looked much better, than Pacquiao fighting Margarito, hell he wasn't even on the top 5,000 p4p, he wasn't even RANKED anymore, besides Margarito most likely started to cheat after he got 5+ lost, we will never know how good Margarito is, unless he can start winning fights now.

We still might agree yet,I'm not talking about him pulling out the fight the first time,that was a valid excuse..I'm talking about him asking for 50/50 after the Mayweather fight..Which by the way was the biggest PPV of the yr..Berto did nothing to make such a request,it sounds like a duck to me tbh..
