I'm not even sure he's top 100. Soir and I already discuss this before.
But, if he is, he will be in the lower top 100 somewhere around 80-100.Comment

I agree, he's a sure fire HOF'er, first ballot IMO. But, I don't think top 100. However, he's the GOAT at 168 IMO if that counts for anything.Comment

Yeah, 100 is such a small number in the annals of this sport; it has to represent the very best of the best.
Even the NSB polls I can remember acknowledged Floyd as the greater fighter by lopsided margins,
And Floyd only added to his record since.
Maybe the "recent" polls were only voted in by the ******ed/delusional minority percentage in those.
Respect for Joe's abilities has risen in the years since his retirement, but I'm talking about certain quarters where it had been lacking previously; that is, most people have him in perspective now. The grander claims are only made by his cheerleaders or people whose perspective is badly skewed on some other agenda.Comment

That counts for everything.
Any top 50 list should have the best fighter of each weight class. Joe is clearly the best at 168 and deserves a permanent spot in the top 50.Comment

When a division has such a limited history, no.
Compile a list of the 50 best middleweights of All-Time if you can.
Compile a list of the 50 best super-middleweights of All-Time if you can.
See the difference?
Right.Comment

Ahhh...No, and that is actually quite ****** Soir...
And, 168 is still somewhat of a new division. I mean really Sven Ottke is arguably top 5 in the division. Is just a new division, not that deep.
If Froch or Ward wins the S6. Either one of the two will be have a case of being the GOAT at 168.Comment

Exactly. Well put sir. Maybe Joe could have proven himself if he'd have had the balls to fight Chad Dawson and Carl the Cobra Frotch.Comment
